Gas pains after 3 months?

Hello everyone, I'm 3 months post-op, (no fills yet) and all of a sudden, I got this pain in the upper left side of my chest and shoulder. It started after having a hard time trying to eat a buffalo wind last monday, I did not eat it. The next day I could not eat at all, so I went on liquids for 2 days. I can swallow easer now, but the pain is still there. I know is gas, because it is exactly like after the surgery, I can fell the gas moving. I try to eat some solid food last night and the pain increase, it fells all the way to my throat. I have had 2 o 3 PB's, but nothing that serious. Did I hurt my band? I have to go on a trip today, so I hate not felling well. I tried, milanta, maalox, pepcid complete, tums, hot pads, ice, but nothing seen to help so far, any suggestions? Any thing is appreciate.

Thank you my angels. :help:

the wait was not that long for me, I completed all my pre-requirments in Sept. and received my approval letter by Oct,. and my date is in Dec. 11, 2006

i just wanted to add that i had the exact same shoulder/back pain months after surgery - finally someone on another chat group told me it was often a sign of overeating - i checked it and it was true for me - i have a terrible time telling when to stop eating as i've always stuffed mysefl to the gills pre band. honestly, it has only happened a few times since then - check it out.

MaryS,

Try keeping a food journal. I know it sounds silly, but if you keep track of what you eat, when, how much, etc. it's easier to figure out what's wrong. I thought that the person that suggested this to me was nuts ... well, she may be nuts, but it's a great idea!

I have the exact pain in my shoulder neck. I made an appointment with my PCP. To get on pain meds. But, I must say. It feels like nerves. From my mid back to my shoulder and on to my neck and then a serious headache. It stops me in my track. I some times can't even move. Has there been any fatalities dur to this? Thanks, I not know that I am not alone when it comes to this pain. <TABLE id=HB_Mail_Container height="100%" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0 UNSELECTABLE="on"><TBODY><TR height="100%" width="100%" UNSELECTABLE="on"><TD id=HB_Focus_Element vAlign=top width="100%" background="" height=250 UNSELECTABLE="off">

I am two month post-lap band. I am at a 4cc fill(week of Dec 30th). Been doing great but yesterday started getting really gassy in my abdomin. Not feeling it in my shoulder. Has anyone had this experience?
