For Older-Aged Sleevers: Do You Look Older Now?

I've noticed a lot of older-aged people who have been through WLS, may tend to look older. I'm already showing the signs of age at 55. I hope I don't look 65 when I'm done with this process. Thoughts? Comments? Thank you!

I'm 53 and 6 months post op. I look much older than I did before the surgery. I didn't have any wrinkles before but do now. I also have jowls and a turkey neck now. The thinning hair has really made me look old too. Oh well, at least I'm a healthier wrinkled woman.

This is my view on it exactly. Pre-surgery I had given much thought to the fact that I will probably now show wrinkles and sag like my skinny sister.

I finally decided that looking young is not my goal. My goal is to be healthy and live to see my grandchildren grow up. I do my turkey neck exercises because they are easy and quick, but if they don't work I won't be unhappy.
