Once you were approved for the surgery....how long until you had your one on one consultation with the surgeon? Then after that how soon did you have your surgery?

Well every state is different I had to go through the six months weigh in before getting approved for surgery, once that happens was when I met with the surgeon

I met with surgeron the first appointment then on my pre-op appointment. 6 months I had to go for visits with the nurse practioner and NUT. Took a few days to get insurance approval then was scheduled for surgery 3 weeks from then.

I met him on my 3rd visit and will again on my preop visit on the 13th. I was approved on March 28 and surgery is scheduled for May 1. Started program in November, 2011. Approval took exactly 2 weeks.
