I have been going like 3 times a day since day 6 post op.But today I have had the runs all day ive went like 10 times today. I had an upper GI on friday, everything came back normally. Im wondering if the barium liquid they had me drink is making this happen.....Imso frustrated....I want to stop going...!

When can i lay on my stomach to sleep.........................Im 7 days post op....its not nearly as sensative.....I normally sleep halfway on my stomach...is this ok? Or should I wait longer?

Im 5 days post op. I read through allmy paperwork. Nothing says for sure....I really want to shave my legs. Can any one advise me on this... Thanks

Im confused about the clear liquids diet the first 2 weeks after surgery....how do I get 70-80 grams a day if i can only drink clear liquids??? Please I need some advice!!

Once you were approved for the surgery....how long until you had your one on one consultation with the surgeon? Then after that how soon did you have your surgery? Thanks

I just had mine done yesterday. It was very easy..they sedate you so much that you dont remeber anything until you are done. Make sure though that you have some food around the house that is light. My stomach has been irratated and full of gas, I have taken a lot of tums and gas x strips. My throat was barely sore though. So pretty easy stuff. Good luck!

My favorite food is spagetti....i know I wont be able to eat it much after surgery.

Wow I hope I wont be hungry any more, thats my problem now, Im hungry all the time. This has been so hard to maintain my weight.lol

I was just curious as to how many calories you eat a day and how much weight you are losing while eating these calories. I know they say I might have to eat as little ass 1000 cal a day, my bmr test said I only burn 1500. I know that is to low so I will eat the 1200 and hope to lose 2-3 pounds per week.

Thank you all I agree I will probally make my own videos for myself. Plus my fiance is concerned about me putting up videos, he is afriad of someone like stalking me...lol

I am new as well and also decided on doing lap band due to the things I read on lapbandtalk and youtube videos. I was also afraid to permanently remove my stomach. The specialist I saw a week ago explained to me abbandout the things I did not see much of on youtube and lapband talk was that 1 out of every 3 bandsters have to have some kind of revision surgery due to mechanical error with band/port or to a sleeve because of band not helping lose enough weight and how hard it is to find the sweet spot with fills. So after they told me that I went home and started doing the research I found out they were right. I then decided to change to the sleeve, plus my Aunt who is 51 years old and been over weight all of her life/ her being a food addict she has lost 85 pounds since October because of the sleeve. Im about 1 month out hopefully of having my surgery.

Wow so everyones situation is different, well Ill plan on taking more than 3 days off.

My doctors office recommends you taking a week off after surgery. They did tell me though that if I had a sedintary job that I could return to work in 3 days. Has anyone been able to return to work in 3 days?

Wow well I hope when I lose 100 pounds that I will gain about 5 or 6 inches in height!lol I am only 4'11"!

Im thinking about documenting my journey to make me more accountable. Has one does this? If so do you think it has helped you stay more accountable?

I am in the same boat as you. My physical therapist wants me to ride a bike as much as I can tolerate. I can only walk about 1/4 myself. Have you thought about a 3 wheel bicycle? I am planning on getting one of those myself, it is safe and you can also get a comfortable seat for it.

I was hoping somebody from my area would have gone through this Dr. office and let me know of their experiance there...as in how long after approval you were able to get all tests done to have surgery scheduled. Thanks in advance for any info!

I just finished everything on Friday ! Im waiting for approval. They told me here in Kentucky they have 30 days to approval, Im hoping it doesnt take that long.
