Has Anyone Not Lost Hair Post Op?

Hi I am just wondering if it is possible to escape this part of the process or if I am destined to have it happen to me. If you've missed this fun portion, can you let me know what you think made the different for you?

I tried taking zinc the other day and spent the day on the lu :)

I have been getting in 65-80g protein/day and hoping to keep that up. I am only 5 wks post op.

Unfortunately, I think very few people avoid this. I religiously got at least 75 grams of protein, took all my multivitamins, etc. and at about 5 months out my hair loss started. I'm lucky to have a ton of hair so it's not been horrible, but I can definitely tell. :(

So the next question would be: when does it start growing back in?

I have some thinning, but not as bad as I expected! I've been taking biotin since 2 months post-op and I'm religious about the protein and water. I don't know if it's helped, or if it's just that I had thick hair to begin with.

I will bee 5 months out April 10th and so far no hair loss.

I get 75-100 grm. protein a day and take zinc and biotin daily.

I am hoping I have gotten past when it falls out. I am a haordresser and can get all the fancy shampoos etc.. But hear they really don't work. I know the biotin has mad my hair grow faster..if nothing else.
