The past two days I haven't want to eat anything at all. I did have some banana yesterday and it went down horribly. But I haven't want to drink my Protein Shakes etc... Been forcing myself really to keep on top of my nutrition. Is this normal at some point?

Are you hydrated? I didn't eat for three days because I had no desire then when I did I felt sick. It ended up being dehydration. Hope it passes!

Depends on how far out you are. Are you newly sleeved? Oh wait, I see you were done 5 days before me. I have had days like that. Not for a week or so though. If you're having trouble for a couple days, focus on getting as much liquids down as possible and take your Vitamins. At least the multi. Do NOT get dehydrated or you will have a ticket straight to the E.R. If it goes on for more than a couple days, I'd call the doc. Do you think you have a stomach bug?

I have been like this since I Went back to work 3 days ago. I work night shift, so I am sure it's messed up my eating schedule. I just forced myself to drink a shake but very slowly cause I feel nausea just thinking I have to drink it. I had a Little urine out put this morning and that's about it. Gonna try some Water now.

Please try to push any liquids you can tolerate. Gatorade, Powerade, chicken broth, low sugar apple juice... I would say G2 or powerade zero, but at this point, I don't think the real version would hurt you! Please drink something. A lot of something. Don't push the Protein Shakes if that's scaring you away from drinking.

Yes drink as much Water as you can. I am having a similar issue. I was sleeved on 2/3 and I am feeling NO HUNGER for the first time since surgery. I am definitely wondering what that is all about. It seems like just now the hunger hormone is finally going away! That's so strange because I've felt hunger (yes physical hunger where my tummy rumbles and I have that empty hungry feeling) all the way up until this point. I'm hoping it stays that way. However, your problems sounds more severe. I am ok with drinking my fluids. Drink water water and more water and please take your Vitamins

So the only thing besides 1 bottle of Water and 1 Protein Shake I can tolerate today is crackers. Now this makes me nervous cause I don't want to derail

Lilliana, you really need to get your fluids in. Dehydration is nothing to mess around with. Can you sip on Gatorade? Or broth? I saw the popcycle but you need more. You will get more from Gatorade than just Water and if it makes you more comfortable try G-2, it has less calories. Then if you can't keep anything down -I would call your doc.

Best to you,

Sandy

Honey, please try to get some fluids in. Sip daily! If you are still feeling like this in the AM, I would def. give your dr. a call! I am just 5 days behind you (2/13) and I am NEVER hungry, but I am always sipping on something. I hope you start to feel better soon! Keep us updated!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
