Sleeved 2/27/12 By Dr. Alvarez In Mexico

Hi,

Just found this site/app & so happy I did!! I am almost 2 weeks post-op & happy to report no complications or issues. I saw a post on here from someone who had their operation done the same day as me & has lost 25 lbs already...can that be right?? I have only lost 12 lbs as of today.

It seems to me that everyone is different........ I was sleeved on feb 7th and I have lost 51ish. I haven't lost any in about a week now though. It seems to matter how much you have to lose. I have a couple friends that have lost more and one that is losing slower. In our case it seems that the ones that have more to lose have lost more and vise versa. Just my two cents.

Congrats on your sleeve.. I was sleeved on Feb 28th and as of yesterday i was down about 25lbs .. the rate of lose varies from person to person

Don't worry, I was sleeved same day and only down 9 lbs. I am following the post op diet to a Tee! And I am walking. I started with a low bmi but feel like drinking chicken broth for 2 wks should be more than 9 lbs...
