Famous Canadian Losers!

Ok, maybe not famous, but to me, this one gal is. For those of you who don't visit the canadianlapbanders site, you may not know of her. She doesn't post much, which is a shame, cause I find her inspirational. (if you are a member, and don't know who I'm talking about, you can PM, and I'll tell you who's posts and pictures to look for on the other board)

I won't name names, but she was banded a little over 2.5 years ago, started at 427 and is now at 138. From what I've read in previous posts, about 230lbs of those were lost in the first year.

No comparing though, cause seemingly the higher the weight you start at, the faster it comes off in the beginning. But then again, there's another recent bandster, done in May who had 50-ish pounds to lose, and is very close to done. AHHH!

Anyways, not that she's alone... there's lots of people who've lost huge amounts like that on here, and elsewhere (with the band), but it's nice to hear of people a little closer to home.

:clap2:

Oh, no... Irishmist, I didn't PM you. Didn't wanna bother typing out another message just to have it (probably) not go through. I just wanted to tell you that you should be getting an invite from them. Anything yet?

And Cloe... BOOOO!!!! WhatEVER! LOL It's ok. I feel your pain... it's very irritating to learn. I'll just maybe harass you guys with "guess what so and so said" posts every now and then!

Well, I still have the other sites under my favourite list, so I'll pop in from time to time. But probably won't post unless I can't help myself.

So I went over the lapbanders to see this picture of this girl, but there are like 71 photos and I'm on #%@* dial up, sooooo, could you please tell me her name so I don't have to sit for an hour waiting for photo's to upload. Thanks:)

um what canuck? alos if you are pm ing peopel who ask, why not just write it here, I mean we are al in the same boat. I would like the site too!

thanks re the canadian

Kim, I just thought I shouldn't give out a person's name on here, who isn't even a member here... you know, just in case she should join someday, just to find out that we all know who she is! I'd be kinda freaked out, if everyone already knew about me here before I'd joined... PMing you!

okay wel I don' t know her name and I applied for this website but what folks are writing I htink this is the best forum for me and it feels like asupportive group here for me and I know you guys and TRUST you.

Yeah... I think this is a good place for everyone. It's nice to have somewhere else as a standby, but this message board has become my new home :scared: LOL

I imagine that *we* know your name here, right... just say your name is Kim M. I think they just want to know that you're a real person, and not someone who's joining to cause trouble, or sell things. Don't worry.

geeze cause trouble, sell things....well if i wanted to cause trouble I would do it on crazier sites, and sell things, ya twinkies lol. Nope, just me baby! Lol
