Surgery Yesterday W/dr. Almanza

Well, I made it through surgery! I can't say it's been too easy...I'm in a pretty good deal of pain, but I haven't been walking quite as much as I should....it hurts. Every time I go to do my laps, I get the dry heaves, and boy does that hurt. Some of my new surgery buddies act as though they haven't had surgery at all, and are already out shopping...lucky them. I sure wish they used the really strong pain meds here, like they would in the US, and possibly more frequently.

Does anyone have any advise to throw my way? I'm in need of a boost.

Nancy, I'm now down 46.6 lbs! I never ever thought I would see the scale move in that direction! It's amazing! Excersizing and good eating habits get easier every day too :-)

Yay, Shannon! Congrats! :) I will be Dr. Almanza's patient in a couple of months. Glad to hear you had a successful experience with him.
