Protein Powders Just Not Making Me Full Anymore.

Hi, I am a year out from surgery and on a major stall. I'm exercising for an hour week days, and having protein shakes, adding Unjury protein to everything liquid I drink, soups, crystal light, coffee, etc. however I still feel hungry most of the time. My pouch is still nice and tight because I eat a well balance small dinner every night and get full.

What to do?

Hi Sassy, you mentioned you are a year out. I do not rely on Protein shakes as meals. For me, having solids all the time will get me full very fast and remain satisfied, usually all the way until I make myself eat again (as long as it's not carb heavy).

I only have a Protein shake no more than 1 a day and its only always following a tough workout. That said, I do not consider that a real meal, more a snack.

Good luck to you!!!

I only use shakes as a supplement and only a few times a week if that. Are you tracking what you are eating(and drinking) and counting for all of the carbohydrates, total calories as well as the protein? You might be surprised by what you find.
