Pinenut- if you work in Tacoma then maybe we could meet to walk on Rustin Way. Sue and I walked there last week and it was very nice. Do you get a lunch hour? I can't believe that you are going to work on Monday! Take it easy girl.

I do get an hour, but I don't usually take the whole thing. I work 29 hours in 3 days and parking is a bear when you leave the garage. I bet I could do a Thurs or Fri but I would most likely have to bring the girls. That may defeat the whole purpose of you guys' walk away from kids. Kristen and Ryann are 3 and 5 and full of energy. They are ready fro Mommy to loose her "lower oobie" ie: lower belly fat roll! Aparently it is somehow related to my "oobies" located a bit higher. I am going to sign off for now. Chat at you tomorrow!

Ya know, I may be able to do a late afternoon on Ruston. I try to leave at 4:30 and then still be home to make dinner, etc.

Wenjea...yes, sometimes I have to just close it all down and start over

OOOH and AHHHHH, I just got my order for two 5 lb. tubs of Champion whey Protein from a place on Ebay! I had seen them and Sue recommended them. It was only $61 and some change for the two including shipping. MUCH less than Vitalady. Hers are $34.99 a piece, plus tax, plus you have to drive out there. So I saved a ton. Did a new thing, too. I added a sugar free raspberry drink mix (the kind you add to a Water bottle) to the Vanilla.....it was SOOOO good it was sinful. Really rich. YUMMMMMMYYYYY! Going to have to get some other flavors. I have talked to someone who adds diet orange pop to the vanilla.....the fizz goes away and it is supposed to taste like a creamcycle. YUM......

Oh, anyway the store on Ebay that sells the Champion Whey and a ton of other stuff is allsportsnutrition. They have a regular website, but their Ebay prices are even better. $24.24 for the 5 lb protein. $8.99 for shipping the first item and $2.99 for any additional. I am a happy girl.

Sue and Wendy.....sorry I didn't make it walking with you after all.....didn't want to use the gas.....I'm freaking about my van only getting 17 mpg....I want my husband to sell it. I DID go walking here with my daughter, though. Feels good.

Wendy and Pinenut! Tomorrow's the day! I'll be praying for you. It's all good...a new life awaits!

Evilah, It's 3 shakes a day with 30 grams of Protein in each. And then all the sugar free popcycles you want....any broth you want is fine, too. Basically, besides the Protein Drinks, it's anything that's sugar free and fat free liquid. The protein drinks REALLY fill you up AND they help stabilize your blood sugar if you have problems with that. Dr. Harai also told me that if I was feeling especially tempted by any "bad" food to go ahead and have another protein drink....which I have done on occasion. Seems to quell the cravings.

I decided I DON'T want to go with my husband and do bookkeeping stuff for him. I disliked it before, and I'll dislike it again. SO, when I'm missing him when he's out of town, I'm just going to hop the train and go see him like I did a couple weeks ago....go antiquing while he works and spend the evening with him out to dinner, etc. Had to get honest with myself about what I really want to do. BUT I DO miss him terribly when he's gone.

OK, that's all for now. Have a nice evening. LOST is on tonite......I think it's the season finale?

Wendy and Pinenut...

I know things will go well tomorrow. :) You're in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Have a relaxing, do nothing weekend, even if you're feeling well, jsut kick back and enjoy some R&R.

Merrillee...

We missed you tonight, but certainly understand. Wendy will be kicking back for a bit, but give me a call if you're on this side of the great waters.

thanks for all the wishes and prayers! I am feeling nervous, but looking forward to a good rest courtesy of DRUGS. I still think the last full nite I had was when I had Ryann and she went to the NICU. Almost 4 years ago! sleep. Alone sleep......

Sue: I am in Federal Way and work in Tacoma. I stayed at work til 7 tonite and then had to fire everything up since I forgot my timecard.....in case I am too wiped out on Mon. I want to go so I will be there for St. Joe's!

Good Luck to Wenjea too. See ya on the flip side! Don't forget your before photos. I had Randy take some of me and I have not looked yet. I hope I can feel so positive about the changes I am making I will not cringe!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
