My name is Ginger. And would love someone who's done this to talk to. I'm done with my preop test. Just have one more appointment and authorization can start. Just worried about weight lose. Or lack of. Ive been pre op dieting for2 1/2 months and only lost 14lbs. And I have not cheated a lot. Hardly at all. Just worried ins will deny me cause lack of weight loss. Hope to hear from someone.

Hi Ginger!! I'm in NOLA! I was sleeved about 5 1/2 weeks ago by Dr. Lavin. I am 34. 5'6 and 242lbs on surgery day. I think that was also my highest weight and I did not have any pre-op diet.

I have lost 39lbs.

I was a self pay so I can't answer any insurance questions.
