Well, we almost have 1 month until V-day & I am 287 this morning. I would love to lose down to 265 by V-day!

That is 22 lbs, but I am an overachiever. Let's see!

Hey All!

My goal starting after Thanksgiving was to get to 210lbs by Valentine's Day. Thanksgiving I was about 221 and today I am 214. So, it's taken me several weeks to lose 7lbs, but I am very happy at losing at this rate. I've been working out pretty extensively and lost about 4 inches off my waist and another two off my thighs and hips! I'm so loving this journey. I plan on hitting my goal of 210 within the next two weeks.

Good luck everyone!

Hi all,

I had a great week this week! I lost 3.3 lb.s this week and hit my last two mini-goals. My number starts with 13. I haven't weighed that since the early 90s. And I now have less than 5 lbs (3.4 lbs to be exact!) to go to my final goal weight.

It was my second full week at my regular workout schedule after the holidays and I managed to get the snack monster under control. I did enjoy a bag of 94% fat free kettle corn, a Mai Tai, and an extra snack after dinner one night, but other than those extras I stuck to my three meals, Protein first.

I love my sleeve!!!!!!!

My Valentine's Goal also includes reaching the following goals:

144: This was my Christmas goal and I've lost 110 lbs. (32 pre-op and 78 post op). 9 lbs. to my final goal!!!

142: I've lost 80 lbs. post-op

140: Five lbs. to my final goal!!!

139: My number starts with 13. I haven't weighed this since the early-90s.

135: GOOOAAAL!

Congratulations! You are doing great!!

I look forward to when my # starts with "13.." I don't think I have seen that number since junior high- sad to say. I graduated highschool somewhere around 200#. I didn't tend to weigh myself very much, was just too depressing. Was easier to stay in denial that way.

Keep up the great work. Hopefully I will be behind you before too long!

Hey Former_VBG, you are doing great too! I'm so glad this tool is around for all of us. I know what you mean about weighing yourself. It's so much more fun now :-) Can't wait to see your post about the 130s!

Nothing...I just waited it out. I did discover I could drink my unflavored Protein in orange juice! That upped my protein by twenty grams a day. It could have made a small difference. I only started that this week.

Reporting in. It's been 2 weeks since I reported my weight loss, inpart because the website was down and also I heard one person got a virus shortly after the site came back up so I was a little leary of coming back.

Anyhow, down another 5#!!! I'm only 1# away from my V-day goal, so I'm going to change my goal to 154 and see if I can make that.

Surgery weight: 271

Starting V-Day Challenge weight: 179

Current weight: 161

Valentines goal weight: 154

Final goal weight: 135

Down 4# this week! Another good week!! 6# more til goal. I would be uber pleased if I could surpass this challenge!! Will just see how things go.

Surgery weight: 271

Starting V-Day Challenge weight: 179

Thanks for starting a new challenge, Forensikchic! I'm going to be conservative in my goal because my weight is not coming off as fast now and I'm using my birthday of Feb. 8th as a hopeful date for my goal (but will give myself until Valentines if need be).

Good luck everyone!!!!

Today is my 5 month surgiversary and I'm just 9 pounds from my final goal! I haven't been reporting in each week because I haven't had much to report, other than how SLOW it's been going. But, that's OKAY because it's still coming off and the scale is still moving towards my goal. Since starting the Valentine's day challenge I'm down 4 pounds. Last week was a big moment when my weight finally started with 1-4 because I new I was in the final stretch. I have 4 more to go to meet my Valentine's challenge and I'm still hoping that I can do that because I've upped my exercise recently.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
