Because of the way my meal plan progressed I didn't really have a 'first meal' so to speak - I do remember when I could start having raw veggies and LOVED my first salad. :) I also was glad when I was cleared for spicy food, it really helped when I could make pseudo-buffalo wings (with grilled chicken) and could add salsa/pico de gallo to my meals.

I "think" I had an egg, truthfully. I was almost disappointed because I couldn't eat much of anything. I learned really quickly to make sure I ate my Protein first and to make sure my food had some flavor. The bland stuff got to me. I can't eat really spicy food yet, but I'm slowly adding in some spicy stuff.

Good luck! :)

I had crab legs. Cracking them open and getting the meat out made sure I was eating slow. They are also high in protein and low in fat and carbs. It went very well but I could not eat very much. It was good to feel normal again though.

Lissa....I also have the same problem with food that is too bland...I have to find that happy medium between bland and too spicy

Danielle....crab legs sound so good. I am hoping they go well for me too.

Thanks for all your input guys!
