im scheduled to be sleeved on december 20th! i weighed myself yesterday & i am down 15lbs! this 2 week diet is hard but i guess it truly has been teaching me self control. lord knows i want to rub to the cheesecake factory but thats all in my mind because my stomach isnt asking for it. lol.

i remember in 2005, i had lost so much weight & i said id never go back! well, i went back & added 53lbs to it! smh. im glad this surgery will help me stay focused!

I remember thinking the same thing when I posted my starting weight!

I can't believe I just typed my weight!! Yes, the weight I will NEVER be again!!!

But you will never have to type that again (except when you are celebrating how far you've come!)

it truly shocks me that i havent cheated! i know i want this so bad cuz any other time, i wouldve eaten everything in sight!

I lost 10 pre-op on a two week, protein shake breakfast/lunch and a lean and green dinner. I did cheat on the 2nd and 3rd day of it, though. It was my daughter's birthday and we had pizza and cake/ice cream. I was still so weak willed, but I was able to pull it together after that.

I started around the first of December. I just got approved tonight. I'm on cloud nine will schedule a date tomorrow!

Today the scale read... 360.0!! I think it's broken.. for real... I don't know..

I've been doing soups once every other day...

i just received my acceptance letter & it states that it will only cover 1 day unless medically necessary. is that normal? i know its 3 days (2 nights)

I was told the same thing. I know they were able to get extra days covered for me with my csecs due to complications. I'm assuming this might be similar?

I was only there overnight. Believe me if you're doing OK, you'll want to get out of the hospital ASAP!

Heading to the pharmacy to pick up Hibiclens, listerine strips and gas-x strips... oh and some travel size toiletries (I don't like bringing stuff I used in the hospital back to my house! LOL.. I know..)

You'll probably feel well enough that you won't need your Mom. So then you won't have to hear her complain.
