Allergic To Truvia Or Stevia?

So, I'm sitting at my desk.., with HIVES all over my back and neck... OMG!! I'm itching sooooo much... I've had 3 Protein drinks.. but, I was fine afterwards... I had a bottle of Water w/ true orange sweetened w/ stevia... I also mixed it w/ some fruit blend stuff w/ truvia in it... OH MY GOD!!!! I'm miserable!! Even my students feel bad for me!!!..

Took two benadryl, but I'm not getting any relief!!!!

Oh no!! Sorry to hear that, so you really don't know if it's the Truvia or Stevia? Those two are my fav sweetners. I hope you get relieve soon sweetie!!

So, I found out that if you have an allergy to ragweed, which I do, that you shouldn't use Stevia!! Didn't know that... Learned my lesson... UGH!!!!!

Yikes!!!! That's scary!

I am not allergic, but the taste makes me gag. You'll find a way around it. I either have regular sugar drinks, watered down. or I just go for naturally sugr free stuff like tea or milk.

I hope your hives are getting better. Its a bummer to go to the emergency room for hives. Last time I ended up with a ton of steroids which then led to an infection.
