Steve here from South Florida.41yrs old.I was scheduled to be sleeved on Oct 31st (halloween).I did my 6months of hoop jumping ,Pre op Diet for 2 weeks and surgery got canceled due to the fact I was "difficult to intubate" , my lungs collapsed and spent a day and a half in ICU. I was sent home on 24/7 oxygen.

With that said. I am determined,I feel much better have met with surgery team and will meet with pulmonary specialist on Monday for clearance .FINGERS AND TOES CROSSED. I will be back in surgery on November 17th.So we shall see.I look forward to contributing to the forum as much as possible.

Wow, that is so tough to go through and yet you still want to go forward. You have remarkable strength. Good luck to you.

Steve, Sorry to hear you had problems!! I hope they get you healthy enough to have surgery very soon! Who is your surgeon? I'm still looking for someone who has actually had surgery through Strax in Lauderhill and wondered if that might be your doctor?

Good luck with your journey!! Hopefully you'll be on the loser's bench soon!! :)
