Pre op Diet - I'm scared!! Not of the diet though

I am not sleeved yet. I am a little nervous about starting the pre op diet.

In the past, on at least two occasions I recall trying a very low carb diet.

I would reach that stage of Ketosis and was miserable. Has anyone experienced like thier back or kidneys hurting. It was horrible. I could not lay down or sit down for that matter. I really did not understand. lasted about 2 days and gave up. It was something stupid like cabbage Soup diet and I believe also when I went to the diet Dr. and would take pills that were like an appetite supressants. I I did take ibruprophen and it did help but I was afraid my kidneys were failing.

Anyone experience anything like that and have any suggestions.

How long does it last.

Thank you!
