Just joined - already sleeved (just looking for support & friends)

I was sleeved on 4/26/2011 by Dr Salimath in Peoria IL

I have had an incredible journey. Besides the fact that my soon to be ex boyfriend didn't support me at all, I am doing great. The only real problem I am having is my stall @ 25lbs left to loose till goal. I know I need to get back to basics and jumpstart my weightloss again, I just struggle daily w my addiction to sweets. Believe me, I make wise sweets choices (if there really are any). I buy sugarfree everything and 100 calorie packs. But I do know I need to stop that and get back on track. I am not gaining, but I am not loosing either. I have kids and it is real hard to not have ANY sweets in the house at all. I know this will get better when I go back to work. I am on unemployment from my last position and I don't stay busy enough to keep my mind off what's lurking in the kitchen.

Am I alone here??? Sometimes I feel like I am the only person "sorta" messing up my sleeve and it freaks me out.

Welcome to the forum. I do not have the sleeve yet. I am also a fairly new member. I guess I would have to say that you may want to try to refocus. Try doing other things that you may possibly enjoy so that you won't be "lurking in the kitchen". You will be okay. This website is very supportive. You will meet people that will help you get through this. Congrats on your new beginning.
