Does anyone else get excessive gurgling sounds after eating?

One of my local sleeve friends said it was because I was hungry. I don't think so. It is after I eat. Am I still eating too fast? Am I eating too gaseous foods?

Any other explanations for it?

Don

oh yes!

in the beginning, it is very common and very loud. after several months, i find mine really gets loud if i eat Soup or Cereal - something that has a liquid component to it. its like the liquid and solid are fighting each other to see which will be digested first.

totally normal.

[Don, i was sleeved on 9.27.11, and YES...my stomach gurgles also after I eat food. I had some white fish meat yesterday and OH my, I was happy I was alone in my office. I figure it is just the stomach doing its thing, as it does not last very long. I disagree with the "being hungry" part JMO Be interesting to see what others have to say

I'm 9 months out and still have a rather loud stomach at times. Haven't been able to pin it down to any particular food though. It was much worse the first couple of months following surgery. Small price to pay!:D

Pretty normal early on, haven't had it after two months. In part it is just stomach acid churning not it being empty. If you stomach hurts you should talk to doctor. Take your antacids it may help

I am almost 17 months out and my tummy still gurgles. I've accepted it as normal. It doesn't happen all the time and is almost exclusively at my evening meal. It is NOT because I'm hungry, it is always after I eat. I don't think my tummy EVER growls any more, not since surgery!!! I think it may be because I eat a little too much at dinner time.

I'm 4.5 months out and I still gurgle like crazy. It feels like it's happening in my throat. It happens only after I eat and it seems worse with certain foods, although I haven't pinned it down exactly. I was just thinking that I should come up with some way to track it because it's majorly embarrassing.

i'm about 3 months out and i don't have the gurgling that use to have early on after i was first sleeved....
