Stomach numbness?

I'm 13 days post op and notice that when it touch my stomach it feels funny, like kindda numb, almost like I've have a novacaine shoot in it. Anyone else have that feeling?

YES I too have that feeling around my scars. Im glad someone else is feeling that.

I had elbow surgery some years ago and my scar is also numb. It is common as some of the nerves have been cut. I am a labor and delivery nurse, and c section moms often report that their scars and surrounding area is numb and remains so even after healing.

I was numb and scars tender for a month. Your body just underwent a major surgery, it should go away in short time.

I've had that after each surgery.
