Whey protein on clear liquid diet

I am three days post op and can't stand any of the Protein powders I have now. My dad has regular whey protein but it has soy and milk products in it. If I mix them with Water can I drink that? It has milk so I am not sure I am allowed I thought we had to stay away from milk for the first week.

Also my stomach is growling n I am starving. Is this normal???

yes it's normal!

Is it unflavored whey? If so you can put it in anything sugar free. I put it in crystal light, Hawaiian punch, poweraide zero, etc. It's good in soy milk too. Soy Slender is sugar free and it's good.

You can mix it with water of any sugar free drink that you like. Experiment. There are a lot of flavored mix in things that you mix with water that you can use to make the protein taste better.
