Diagnosed with pneumonia 3 days post op

Hey everyone, just wanted to update you all. I developed a cough after surgery. Stopped in at a hospital last night because I was having trouble catching my breath. They did an xray and sure enough I have pneumonia. 10 days of antibiotics and hopefully I will feel better. The cough wouldnt be so annoying if I didnt have the fresh wounds lol, but I think I will be alright :P

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well! Do you have a fever? Please keep a watch on this, I have seen people diagnosed with Pneumonia early out from surgery, and sometimes it turns out to be a leak. Have you spoken to your surgeon about what's going on? I am not trying to scare you, just watch for those symptoms. When you cough, it might help to hold a pillow to your tummy. I hope the meds help you very soon!! Feel Better and take care.
