I have had the same thing. It is likely just from normal post-surgery inflammation at the sleeve/esophagus junction. Mine is okay if I just take small bites.

Yes, this is very normal, at least from my experience. My doctor told me to take small bites, the size of a pencil eraser, chew, chew chew and walk away from the food before you take another bite. At first, I waited 2-3 minutes in between bites. Now, I chew really well and wait for it to settle before I take another small bite. It will get better, just take a little while to get used to.
