I am quite the newbie here.
I know, know, know we aren't to compare weight loss with others, but I do have a question.
I had my surgery on 8/25. I am only down 7lbs. I have to admit, I am let down over this. I was expecting a bit more.
I am still on the full liquid stage. I do get about 75-80oz of Water in and I try to get my Protein. Most days I can only manage 50gr.
I walk on the treadmill 15-20min a day.
I have a couple of friends that have had RNY. They said I need to up my protein. Last night in a panic I choked down another Protein shake. I took in a total of 85gr of protein yesterday.
I stepped on the scale this morning and was up .5lbs.
I am not trying to compare, just wondering of this is normal for some and should I be worried?
I am still having the "what have I done" thoughts. This isn't helping.
Thanks in advance for the help.
