What are your foods on your stage 2 list? I only did clear liquids for the day of surgery and two days following; since Saturday I've been on full liquids (which on my program includes cottage cheese, refried beans, etc.). I haven't had any issues at all. Just measure measure measure and eat SLOW!!

I never was sick, never threw up, had no nausea. But, boy, do doctors differ on post-opt programs! Mine is clear liquids for TEN days, then ten more for full liquids, then mushies, then solids as you can do them. I don't know why there is so much difference in these things. You would think that there would be a standard already for the sleeve procedure. Good luck though, and welcome to the club.

My group has us going to stage 2 fairly quickly as well and I transitioned fine. I still gurgle sometimes, but I can eat tuna, eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, puree meats if they have lube of some sort and Soups very comfortably. I can get 1/4C down before I feel restriction if it's chunky and 1/2C down if it's smooth like yogurt and creamy soups.

Edited to add that I have never gotten sick of felt nauseous until I ate lobster bisque last night.

For me the only nausea happened in the first 3 days. I would guess that you're OK if you haven't had it yet, you probably won't. Unless you eat something that totally disagrees with you in the next stage. Like others said just take it very slow and easy. Take one tiny bite and wait a couple of minutes to see what your stomach is going to do. Then take another.. so on. It's scary but it will be fine. Good luck!

I haven't gotten sick, I am 10 days out, fluids are getting easier by the day! I don't get to switch to stage 2 until 2 weeks.
