Its been 8 days since all my information was turned in. The waiting is killing me.....anyone else waiting????

Yes, I agree, the time has been well spent. I've done a lot more homework about the sleeve and the changes that I need to make than I would have if I would've been approved right away. I'm just soooo ready now to have the surgery that I'll be really disappointed if they deny. Good luck to you with both of your surgeries!

At least you know your insurance will cover it. Mine took it out of the contract...

I got a call from my doctor's office today telling me I'm approved!!! Woohoo! They just submitted it last Friday. I didn't expect it to happen that fast. So I have my date which is September 12th. Can't wait to join all the losers!

I'm waiting too! Mine was just submitted Friday, but I think I'm going to call the insurance company tomorrow to check status. Too anxious!

Got my approval letter today in the mail from my insurance co. and 1 hour later my surgeon's office called to notify me!!!!!!! i screamed so loud!! Thank you for replying to my comment. It helped alot. I have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Sheild insurance. I am so thrilled. I will have my x-rays and labs done next week and then i will meet with my surgeon for all the pre-op details and to schedule surgery. I'm soooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
