Hello all,
This question is for my sleeve sisters out there who are in their forties, possibly pre-menopausal , and just had sleeve surgery. Has anyone experienced REALLY HEAVY menstrual cycles that just won't quit? Just when I think it's gone, there it is, back and heavier than the last time. I was having regular, 28 day cycles like clockwork, just had all my pap/exam stuff done. I am also swelling like crazy in my feet and lower legs. That has let up a bit by INCREASING my Water from 64 oz. to 80 oz. I tell ya, with the bleeding and water bloat, I don't know how I am getting by. The doc said it is because fat has loads of hormones in it, so my fat is disappearing, and the hormones are havin' a going away party!
By the way, I hit an 6 WEEK STALL!!! Got on the scale today, and down 9 more pounds! Thank God. I was losing hope!
SURGERY DATE:May 31st, 2011
2 WEEKS OUT: 30 Lb loss-then stall, stall, stall
8 weeks out:39 Lb loss Finally nine more pounds
(Total pre surgery and now :59lbs.)
If anyone can help with the period thing, please let me know. I am desperate. The docs don't seem concerned. I am not in pain, but it is not fun, as you can imagine.
HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYBODY!!!!!!!
