Has anyone dealt with Priority Health?

Hello,

So, I kind of started this process last fall but my PCP was against the surgery stating that he felt I was healthy enough to do it on my own. He told me to go on the Optifast diet and the large expense was too much for me financially so I tried again on my own.

I meet the requirements that my insurance has set for the surgery, however, i'm not sure where to go from here?

What steps did you take with your insurance?

Hello

I am just reading your post and wonder if you were able to get priority health to cover your WLS. I have them and am very nervous about getting them to approve I am only one month 2 of the 6 month program so I have awile but I also have no comorbidities and a bmi of 40 so I was told I can't lose any weight! Anyway just wanted some insight

I had double coverage with bc bs. One of them rejected me outright no appeal the other I just got approved through by submitting a ridiculous amount of paper work. What I learned was its not always the insurance co. Sometimes it's your employer. Check your company's plan and see what is excluded.
