  3. It's so odd. I didn't even realize that a little over a year ago my life took a change. If was always the girl forever on a diet. I was convinced it was a fat fetus. And now I'm look at pictures and I'm life Wow! Is that me? If walled by a plate glass window the other day and almost cryed.
  4. Im happy someone posted about people not recognizing you. Because for the past month I felt as if I were in the twilight zone. Im just short of six months post op and at 104 lbs down. I went to church last week and people were introducing them selves to me. They just saw me last month. The craziest thing was when I went to motor vehicles to pay a fine and the guy looked at my license and asked if it were mine.
  5. Hello I had my surgery done with dr. Marymour. Best decision I ever made. The whole staff is so great you can tell from the moment you get there that they really care. Im guessing if you have all your tests done and documentation it all should go by very quickly.
  6. Omg! Thank you all for posting this topic. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind. I have had my period for 10 days now.

  11. Im interested in a group.
  12. Hello I am in Anne Arundel county. Are there any support groups available?
  13. The reason for the liquid diet is to decrease fat around the liver. I didnt cheat everyday.
  14. I use the myoplex strawberry shakes the ready made ones from the grocery store. I keep one on.my purse that way I'm.never with out one. The other one I got at the clinic. Vanilla torte...omg. it tastes just like a chick fil s vanilla shake. Its.delicious.
  15. I cheated... Lol. The key is only lean protein for one meal. So I did skinless baked chicken. One meat ball no sauce. Look at it as if you were on medifast or slimfast for ten days. My shake is also really good. Although I am sure after four more weeks I will never want a strawberry or vanilla shake ever again.

  17. On the liquid diet I went down a size. I freaked out when some of my clothes were too big. I can't imagine what I will do when I can't fit anything. Whenever I'm anxious I usually shop for clothes and I can't do that now.
  18. I am going by myself but my husband and bringing my car. My husband will pick me up.
  19. Can you say nervous? I am five yards past nervous. Surgery is 12:15 tomorrow. I keep looking at myself in the mirror wondering what it will feel like to look different. I can't believe this is really happening. Omg
