I am new to this board. I have been contimplating the LapBand for about a year after a friend had RNY. I am a single mother of 3 yr old twins, so RNY was not given a thought. I hope to find success for the first time with the Band.

I get mine on Thursday with Dr. Ortiz.How are you feeling?

I am feeling very good. Sore for a few days and now the only real sore spot is where the port is. I am having trouble getting in 1 oz every 15 min without drinking it right down. The nurse at my doctors office tells me if I am burping or hiccuping I am drinking to fast. How can it possibly take 15 min to drink 1 oz??????????

I hope to go to full liquids on Thursday which will be 6 days post op, but I think I have to wait until Friday.
