I am flying out to California tomorrow for surgery on the 26th (all prayers appreciated). I have heard many people talk about going shopping and hope I'm up to do some while there. I saw one person post about Coach bags. Did anyone find any decent bargains and if so on what items? I'd like to bring back some treats for my family. I haven't been for my surgery yet but the last time I went I loved shopping. Everything is so much cheaper comparatively. Made it easy to buy gifts for ppl as well as keep sakes for myself. Granted where I went was in the heart of Mexico so I don't know if things will be more expensive considering TJ and Mexicali are right by the border. Just watch yourself because if you aren't careful some shopkeepers will take advantage of you and try to rip you off!!

I'm 3 wks post op & yeah I went shopping but the place they bring you to tries to rip you off!! Knock off Coach & Louis Vuitton bags for $175-$200 really cheap type material..it was bogus!!

Yup! Had so much fun!! Just looked for visitor type stuff though.... Great fun : )
