Pain under right rib area sharp shooting and aching

I am 31 days out and I have pain under my right rib area. It has been hurting on and off since the very beginning, but today it is worse. Has anyone else had this same pain? Thanks.

I had this too! It ended up being my gallbladder. So at 8 weeks post-op, my doctor took it out. He made me wait until 8 weeks so my tummy would be all healed. Let your doctor know right away so that they can check this. It is a fairly easy surgery to recovery from and I felt better almost immediately!

Thanks and I had my gallbladder removed several years ago; however, this is the same kind of pain I had then. It's confusing. I'm glad you are feeling better.
