Pain in shoulder and little lump at incision

I know that the pain in the shoulder is gas pain but it's so bad I can't sleep...I was out walking yesterday and the day before but I'm barely getting any sleep at night because the pain wakes me up...and its 8:30 AM now and I'm just about to go to bed after waking up 3 times at night just from moving. The sleep deprivation is really getting to me.

And I was changing my gauze and I found this little hard lump on the inside of the incision near my navel, and the incision there is still open (everything else has started to stitch itself together) is that normal? Is it scar tissue? It's not swollen, but it does hurt if I press on it and if I press on it a little bit of blood comes out of the incision.

I don't feel sick just tired and in so much pain. I'm going to call my doctor after I take a nap but has anyone else had anything like this? Should I be worried?

I am sure you are fine. A heating pad under my shoulder helped with the gas pain but it was annoying until it went away. My drain incision was sore and oozed stuff for a few days until it closed up--you are more courageous than I, I never pressed on mine. Just keep changing the gauze. If it's only red, that's fine. You don't want the red to spread out or make streaks and you don't want to run a fever over 100.5F without calling your doctor.

Hehe I didn't mean to press it, I was smoothing the closure tape over the incision and I felt a hard bump...I just pushed it a bit to see if it would ooze anything but it seemed solid. Doctor said it's probably a hematoma blood formation thing.

I walked to the pharmacy to get a heating pad and more gauze and when I got back my stomach wounds were sore but my shoulder was fine :D Give and take eh?

my shoulder(gas)pain was real bad for about 5 days...Walking really helps it go away...but it does go away!
