Pinkish urine 5 days post op

Anybody have this happen? I feel fine other than gas pains, soreness on left side (from surgery) . Liquids and proteins have been going down fine, so there are no obvious causes. Any body have similar experience?

Hi there!

Even though this didn't happen to me, I wanted to reply to your post.. Did you have a catheter on you at the hospital? Did the nurse check out that you can pass clear urine prior to you being discarged? It could be soreness from when they took out the catheter, but could also be signs of an infection as a result of the catheter..

Call the surgeon's office today to let them know..

Good luck, and keep us updated..

Call your surgeon. It is probably nothing, but why take the chance? You haven't come this far to be foolishly shy now. CALL!!!

KEEP IN TOUCH,

Valentina

This warrants a call to your doc.
