Question About Water
I am trying to get myself back on track, 16months post-op. When counting my water intake, does my protein drink count as water intake? I drink Click powder mixed with water mid-morning.

Not Gonna Meet My Short-Term Goal :(
Coops, that is exactly how I feel. I KNOW in my head that I am doing great. No more short term goals for me!!! I am just going to rejoice in every ounce that I lose, no matter how fast or slow it comes off

I go up a pound or 2 now and then, and then it comes back down plus extra. I am 4 months out.

Not Gonna Meet My Short-Term Goal :(
Well, I had a goal to be at 187 by August 19th. That is my wedding anniversary and that would have put me losing 100 pounds in a year. I am going to be 5 1/2 pounds short. I am really frustrated. I try to tell myself to look at my overall weight loss. It is really amazing.I have lost 94.4 pounds in year, 52 pounds in the 4 months since my surgery. I am thinking that I'm not going to make myself short-term goals anymore. This was the first time I actually set a specific number in a specific period of time, and I think I get too hung up on the numbers when I do that??? I know that I have done a few little things to sabatoge myself lately too. I had completely quit drinking coffee before my surgery because I only like it with real sugar and CoffeeMate. In the last month I have started drinking it again (with the real sugar and CoffeeMate). I just got my first order of Click in and started drinking that this morning (LOVE IT), so I am hoping that will help me break the coffee habit again. I notice that now, at four months out, I can eat more and I am hungry more. I am struggling to drink enough water too. I HAVE to make myself get my water in!!! I guess I just needed to vent a little. I will now STOP whining, pull my big girl panties up (though they are much smaller than they use to be, just a large with no x's in front ) and do what I know I need to do!!! Thanks for listening!!

How long it took to get to onederland?
I had surgery on April 11th at 244lbs. I just reached onederland about a week and a half ago. I am also a slow loser. Today is my 4 months anniversary of surgery and I have lost 51 lbs since then. The rest of my weight loss is pre op as well. Looks to me like you are right on par with me! Maybe we are normal after all?? lol Congrats on the weight you have loss thus far and good luck in continuing to lose!!!!

The double standard
People really use no censorship when talking! You are so right. It was a compliment to you because you have lost so much weight, but what about the person in line behind you who has gained a lot of weight. RUDE!!!

what are sliders?
Watermelon is a slider for me. I can literally eat it and eat it and eat it. I have had to cut it completely out of my diet because I have no willpower when it comes to watermelon.

New NSV's, but not sure how I feel about some.....
I sometimes feel the same way. At work, there are a couple of people who keep using the word "skinny". I WEIGH 193lbs!! I am so far from skinny!!! If someone has not struggled with their weight for their entire lives, or what feels like their entire lives, they just don't get it!
