Do you have any rather odd or unique goals?

For example- when I first weighed after avoiding it for 10 years I was shocked to my soul. You see, I had been 260 pounds when I was fully pregnant and I was sure I would never be that heavy again as I gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy. Well there I stood- surely the blood drained from my face- I was 277....and not pregnant.

So my first goal was to be lower than 260. I did that five days after surgery.

My next goal, also a little different- is to be able to use the scale I grew up with, which I ended up with and used all my life. I was devastated to be over the 250 maximum it weighs because it was so shocking to me what had happened since my back surgery.

I am at 251 today ...so hopefully any day!

This is a bit wacko as I am sure it is probably not even an accurate scale any more- and I have two other scales now ;-P I just want to be able to use it...because!

My final goal- of course besides getting to my goal weight- the main goal! is to weigh less than my husband. I have weighed more than him since we met almost ten years ago(I think) and it just feels so wrong to me- especially since he is 6 foot 1 and I 5 foot 7! (The man Snacks constantly- of course since my sleeve it seems like he has really stepped it up so that he seems to eat ALL THE FREAKING TIME :P ) but he never goes over 210 and is generally at 207 so my next goal is 205.

Anyone else have personal goals that might vary from the usual fitting into movies seats, fitting in to airline seats etc. - NOT that I do not share those too!

I had super trivial goals. 1) To see the bones in my feet 2) To shave my girly bits without worrying about shaving or nicking off important parts 3) To see that little triangle of light through

Do a split again? WOW! For ever doing one!

I forgot a major one- my engagement and wedding bands were stuck on my hand for years due to my weight gain- and in the pre-op area they managed to get them off using a VERY painful method with wide dental floss tightening the finger and pulling them little by little. I have them on a gold chain now but want to lose enough to put them back on.

And I can now weigh on my scale from childhood!!!! 249 today....

After reading others goals, I have to say the one that jumped out at me was sitting in a lawn chair. It's that overall concept. I'm getting ready to buy an inversion table and my first thought when reading the specs was to jump to it's weight capacity. I would love to live life at a weight where I can assume I will not break the item, but just automatically be at such a reasonable weight that I don't have to check the capacity.

Oh and some day I want to be where no one knows me and, with weighing something like 160 pounds, I join into one of the silly conversations I hear in groups of "normal" sized women who are gabbing away about how fat they've gotten and how they just sooo need to do something about it. I don't know why. I've just never done that when it wasn't the absolute truth so it would be fun to play that silly little female game.

I would love to fit into my husband's t-shirts!

to learn how to swim. while i was big i didn't want to have someone trying to teach my fat self in a bathing suit how to swim (a whale comes to mind, which is stupid)
