I am totally excited!!! Saw my PCP today and well she agreed to take me off of my last diabetic pill. HOOORAHHHH I guess that means I am not diabetic anymore and it has only been 3 weeks since surgery and 5 weeks on the diet. In addition to that I don't have to take anymore blood pressure medicine....unless my Nephrologist says otherwise this afternoon, which I don't think he will.

So the pill update:

20 to 10 to 6 to 2 a day in 3 weeks.

I love my sleeve and it is doing exactly what I wanted it to do and more. I cried this morning with a big huge smile on my face. Just couldn't help myself.

Thanks guys, me too. Just got back from the Nephrologist and he ok'd me not taking the BP meds I couldn't be happier. Dare I say I am starting to feel almost "normal"?
