I was supposed to find out today or last friday, nothing yet!

Hello. So I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them. I was supposed to hear back from Insurance if I was approved or not either last Friday or by today. So far I have heard nothing and I'm really nervous! I'm wondering if this is bad news since it seems to be taking longer than it's "supposed" to. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!! :-)

No, I think it just means your case is not a big priority TO THEM. If you haven't heard by tonight, I would advise calling them tomorrow, and continue to bug them until you get your answer. Be nice, but persistent.

Thank you for your advice and input! I had the insurance department at my surgeon's office do all of my paperwork and communication so far with my insurance company. Do you think I should call them or my insurance company directly? I wasn't really sure who was actually going to contact me. I thought it was the surgeons office, but I don't really know! I emailed the insurance department this morning and haven't gotten a response yet from them. I hate the waiting game!! But I know good things come to those who wait!! Thanks again!

I would call both. Check in with the surgeon's office to make sure everything was submitted when they say it was. Then check with the insurance company. Good luck! Just like senior said, be nice, but be persistent.
