  5. Checking in and changing goal... My initial goal didn't seem all that unattainable, however as the time gets closer things just aren't going as swiftly as I like. 8. Ibejjo, did you try the chocolate or the vanilla? Walmart.com only carried the chocolate so that is what I bought. I'm curious to know how the vanilla is, but Walmart doesn't have it.
  9. I'm in! I messed up the Easter challenge, so I'm back to try again! SN..............Starting Wt........Current.......Goal.......Lbs to Goal Furiosmommy .......262..............262..........230........... 32
  10. Great post, I think tracking is so important. Sometimes on the weekend I don't track and towards the end of the day I'll think "I wonder how much protein I got today.." I like using the Fat secret calorie counter app on my smartphone. No excuses to not track my food!
  11. I would call both. Check in with the surgeon's office to make sure everything was submitted when they say it was. Then check with the insurance company. Good luck! Just like senior said, be nice, but be persistent.
  12. Well... yes and no.... I'm not sure if it's just you or if you have a family to shop for, so this is what I do. I have to shop for myself, Hubby and our toddler. I still buy a lot of the same things for them so I really don't spend less on actual groceries possibly a little more. I buy a lot more protein now. But I am also a big couponer so I'm always looking for the best deal. But, we eat out far less. Far less for us is once a week down from 3 or 4 meals out a week. If it's just you, I think you will have a decent amount of savings on your hands!
  13. I know what you mean! My lane bryant 22's got way too big, and now my 24's from JcPenny's fit, and I can fit into Old Navy 20's (not plus). It's so hard to keep up with sizing, that's why I don't have a size goal! And I have to ask what exactly does "30 day shitters" mean? That just sounded too funny.
  14. Thanks for the input Irene. The reviews looked pretty good so I went ahead and ordered a 4 pack from walmart for $7. I'll try them out as soon as they arrive!
  15. It doesn't look like they carry them locally for me either. But you can order them online from walmart.com and just buy one pack to see how they taste. Might be worth a shot! Here's the link My link
  16. I think the nutrition info looks pretty good on those! I've also been looking for a good RTD shake. I think it'd be nice to have on hand but I think all of the RTD stuff is horrible. I think they would be worth a try. But you are right, $40 is a lot on a risk. I'd try to find some locally, or buy online in a smaller quantity if you could. I might look for them myself though to try them out. You figure a protein powder is going to be around 120 calories, 24g of protein and about 4 carbs (mine is anyway). But when you add that to a cup of milk you add on another 12g of carbs. I just hate blowing that many carbs in one go personally. Thanks for posting, i'll look for them locally and report back with what I find out!
