  1. OMG. That is totally awesome. I don't want to be like Mike, I want to be like you. Your my inspiration that with hard work and dedication a size 0 is attainable. You rock those jeans until the buttons fall off. You go girl!!!
  2. My favorite is the Nectar Strawberry Mousse. I blend it with No Sugar Added Almond Milk 1 cup and 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries and half a banana. It's a super yummy breakfast with over 25 grams of protein. Jenn
  3. OMG!!! You look amazing. You have done a awesome job. You have been my inspiration since I got sleeved on January 17th of this year. I hope that you are super proud of yourself. Jen
  4. I think it's a great idea. I have been going to WW meetings since before I had my surgery and I just made goal 2 weeks ago. The meeting are very informative and having the support is awesome. Plus you will be helping to motivate your friend. As for the money, your saving so much since you eat less now that the few dollars per week for the meeting won't really be a big deal. I say go for it and you won't regret it. Jen
  5. That's amazing. Such a great accomplishment. I did my first half marathon October 9th in Long Beach CA in 2 hours 25 minutes. I felt so proud and that was my greatest NSV since have been sleeved (01-17-11). Are u thinking of doing a full marathon?
  6. Hello All. I am doing the happy dance. :bananapowerslide: I made it to my original goal of 159 but see is believing so I had to take a picture. I was so in shock that I got on and off the scale 3 times this morning and each time it was 159. Yeah baby. I have never had so much joy getting to 159pounds ever. I wasnt starving myself or depriving myself of all of my favorite food and I have even found an exercise that I love running. I achieved my 2 goals for this year in the same week. I ran my first half marathon on Sunday and got down to my goal weight this morning Tuesday. My next goal is 155 pounds which I hope to meet by my birthday November 23 and my next goal weight 149 before year end and my ultimate goal weight 145 by my 1 year anniversary 1-17-12. I  my sleeve. :clap2: Thanks, Jenn
  7. OMG. You look awesome. That dress looks amazing on you, it's very flattering on your body. Great job.
  8. Hello All, I had my vsg done on 01-17-11 so a mere 9 months ago and my new years resolution at the beginning of this year was to complete a half marathon. Yes running 13.1 miles on purpose is my goal for 2011. Well its official i finish my first half marathon today in Long Beach California. My official time was 2:25:35 which is a 11:07 average minute mile. My goal was to be under 2:30 and I made it with over 4 minutes to spare. I have always been envious of runners and my entire life I have wanted to be one. Never in my wildest bdream would I ever imagine that I would be running marathons (or should I say half marathons). I have never been this proud of my self ever and now I know that I am unstoppable once I put my mind to something. My next goal is getting to my personal goal weight which is 149 which is only about 11-12 pounds away, I am hoping to hit before my 1 year anniversary on January 17th. After that I want to conquer a full marathon which is 26.2 miles, I am thinking of Maui Hawaii in September 2012. If I believe it and I can see it then I can do it. I attached a couple of pictures from today. Thanks, Jenn
  9. My suggestion is find an activity you like to do. I started out doing work out videos at home because I was too embarrassed to go to the gym.
  10. Dang girl you look amazing. I love your whole outfit from head to toe. You have great fashion style. I want to look like that when I get to goal which is just a few more pounds away but I an thinking of lowering it to 155 or 150.
  11. OMG!!! You look absolutely amazing. I love that dress, its exactly like my goal dress that I am planning to wear at my companys christmas party in December.
  12. Congrats!!!!!! That must be an amazing feeling to have made it to goal. I am only 2 pound away from goal myself and I can not wait to be in your shoes.
  13. You have done a wonderful job. You look amazing.
  14. Those first couple of weeks I didn't exercise either. I started out slowly adding exercise about week 3. I was tired but I knew I needed to exercise so I just did it. Don't give your self an option, make exercise mandatory like showering. It's just something you gotta do and if you find something you like doing then it won't seem so bad. I have fallen in love with running but I mix my workout up with spinning, Zumba, DVD's, running and lifting weights.
  15. Thanks guys. I really appreciate all of the compliments. It has taken a lot of work and I couldn't have gotten here without my sleeve. Since getting the sleeve I have finally been able to become the person that I have always wanted to be a runner. I would say runner is the reason why I have been so successful with my weight loss. I run 4-5 days a week ranging from 4-7 miles. Since January 1st I have run 10 5K's and 3 10K's. I will run my first half marathon on October 9th in Long Beach and I am planning to run the LA Marathon in March 2012.
