Surgery on Feb 15th and pregnant!!!!

I am so freaking out right now, I mean a new life is always precious, but I just spent a lot of money to get back to my pre-mommy weight. I am so scared I won't lose weight or that I will gain a ton of weight. I am so discouraged but trying to be positive. I know there are many people who struggle to have a baby so I don't mean to take it for granted, I just was looking forward to feeling good about myself for the first time in a long time.

First of all Congratulations! Second you will need to up your calories and get out of ketosis for the sake of the baby. That being said the baby will take their nutrients from you and you will most likely still lose weight while the baby gains weight. I would not be discouraged with your weightloss it will happen. Right now the baby needs the proper nourishment to grow.

Keep us posted on your progress with the weightloss and the baby :) .

Just wanted to say Congratulations to you again Olivia!

I lost 22 lbs while banded with our first child and he came out big and healthy! Just make sure you inform your ob/gyn of your surgery because they may want to monitor you more closely.

Oh my god, what a surprise to get! Well, congratulations and here's to a healthy pregnancy! I am sure this will not spell the end of your weightloss journey, it's just a little detour.

Wow- just really adjusting to this new way of life and then this to happen! You probably feel very overwelhmed- I will definately be praying for you! But like the others said- worry about your baby and at least Praise God you have this awesome tool that will keep you in check during your pregnancy and after! CONGRATS!!
