Hi, I am from San Antonio and am having my surgery on the 6th of April, I start the liquid diet next Wed.

Support group is at NE Baptist OR Conference Room on the first floor at the other end of the hospital from the center the third thursday of every month. They'll probably tell you about it at your first week nutrition and exercise info sessions. The head psychologist is doing the program about life changes I think so it should be good.

I will have my surgery in San Antonio by Dr. Patel also. Do you have any idea how far ahead he books his surgeries? Also, how long after you got insurance approval did you get a date of surgery? I am just interested in some sort of timeline. Thanks for your reply.

Are you having it at foundation hospital? Good luck. Forgot to answer your questions. Yes I did the two week preop diet and lost 19 pounds. You're in good hands. Did fine and doing fine. Have lost 125 pounds so far. Still a lot to go.

Roseib, did you have Dr Sonny Cavazos? I heard he is great. He is doing my sleeve at NE Baptist on July 9th. Day 6 pre op right now.
