Hi Froufrou, I'm getting the gastric sleeve revision to gastric bypass, i'm a bit nervous, i gain most of the weight back and have had other health issues like, PCOS, arthritis in knee and diabetic along with acid re-flux. how much have you lost since the revision? was it worth it? i'm just a bit nervous.

Thanks To be Thin 2011, you are so right , i need to start with the exercise, i just dont make the time or just plain make excuses for:) again thank you, for your encouraging words and making feel more at ease. I have racking my brain thinking maybe im eating too many calories ( 600-700) or maybe i should be doing something different, but now i see i have to actually get out there and start with the exercise.

Hello everyone, i need some advise on what in doing wrong, i am 5 1/2 months out i haven't really exercised and i know that has been part of it but i still try and stay active and walk around the office. i have been able to lose 61 lbs since the surgery but i have been losing inches, in June i weighed 281 and in September i weighed in at 271, i dont understand it. I need some tips and advise as to what im doing wrong and what can i do to lose the max amount.
  14. Hello there, i started off cold right after surgery, before surgery i was always hot and never cool enough, and not its cold all the time. I lso used to sweat alot and now its takes alot for me sweat which i love, i hated sweating all the time My sis had the surgery the same day i did and she didnt feel cold till after a month or two, we were sleeved 3/21/11.
  15. Thanks Infernored, i have been taking Biotin, and im hoping itll stop soon, i cant stand losing my hair, i have very thin hair so you can imagine my pain again thanks!
  16. Ok so im going on 4 months post op in July 21, and im expericening hair loss, i am panicing and not sure what to do. I have read that protein is key, does anyone have some advice? im freaking out and will i be bald? please help. Thanks!

  18. Hello everyone, im Sylvia and im from San Antonio, was sleeved on 3/21/11 by Dr. Ramiro "Sonny" Cavazos, im 3 months out and have lost 50 lbs. Im doing and feeling great, i am so glad i had the surgery, i dont huff and puff every few feet and i have so much more energy!

  21. Hello there just had my sleeve done on March 21st, i had it done with my sister. We are on six weeks post op, and trying to find out what is the next step what to eat, so any advise is welcomed.
  22. ok so i have been post op for about 8 days and still on clear liquids with no protien shake, but i will be able to drink the shakes next week, i am looking for protien shakes recipes, anyone out there have some recipes to share? please do, i heard you can add cool whip or frozen yogurt...is it true?

Thanks, we just got home fomr our 2 1/2 days stay at the hospital, no complications, went by really fast. today are at home and dont know what to do with ourselfs, just walking alot and trying to drink lots of Water was in pain yesterday, cried and regretted having the sleeve, but thanks to my sisters and the wonderful staff at the hospital they helped me thru it all and and im happy i got it, im still in some pain but just need my meds. Well i would like to hear how your operation went, keep in touch.
