Doug, dude--you forgot the refried beans!! LOL! Boy do they taste good after having liquids for awhile. Especially with cheese and salsa added.

Way too many carbs.

I am 2 months out and there's no way I am going any where near chili right now.. I still have reflux and adding chili to the mix would be a nightmare, and as for the refried Beans my surgeon told me to go ahead with them because of the amount of protein you can get from 1 serving. I usually just have a tablespoon of beans with about an ounce of cheese as a snack and boy does it fill me up..

Mix it with the cottage cheese! (kidding)

That's awesome! I spent $18. Yogurt, Campbell's Chunky Soup, and Carnation Breakfast Essentials. That's it. I'm set for the week. I'll make up the difference in the new clothes I need to buy because I everything own is now too big!

Here's to the new us! :D

Just wait til you start buying clothes....the cost of an entire new wardrobe has definitely surpassed any food savings!

I swallowed my pride and started shopping at Good Will.

I'm more of an Ebay shopper myself, I check out Goodwill and other stores like that sometimes, but most of the stuff is there for a reason....although I did ****** a great vintage fox fur coat for $10 once!

P.S. that was "sn.atch"....didn't realize it was such a terrible word!

I have been lucky the last couple times I was at good will, I got 3 pairs of new jean that fit great and 4 cute shirts.

I LOVE thrift store shopping. Once you get used to it there is no going back to retail.

I wear my fat clothes until I lose all my weight. Saves a ton of money, and it fits in with the "baggy style".
