I am dying for a salad - wait, was that me talking?

I am on pureed food and I have been dying for a salad or some other vegetables (broccoli or carrots esp.). So not like me. I don't want carbs, I don't want sugar, I just want a salad. Who is this person talking?

So my real question is - once I am past pureed foods and then soft foods - can I have a salad or is that something I need to work up to?

I would LOVE a salad! I'm out 1 year and 1 month and those yummy greenery tubs of nutrition cause me such spasms and pain that I can't eat them yet. . . ugh one day this too shall pass!

Oh no! That does not bode well for my cravings. What do you do for veggies?
