You're doing great! Don't compare yourself to others because everyone's body is different. I would focus on your plan and keep doing what you are doing. It will come off... besides (I know I said don't compare) compared to others your start weight is considerably low (in weight loss surgery contexts). In total, you have lost 44lbs. What diet could you get on and loss 44lbs in a month?

1st Appointment 1 week post-op-243 due to receiving lots of IV fluids before and after surgery.
Current weight-224
I have a question. do you think I'm loosing weight too slowly? I count my SW as my starting weight and I've lost 15lbs. I expected to loose 20-22lbs the first month. I am 3.5 weeks post-op currently. I try to to compare myself to others and their weight loss.

I have a question. do you think I'm loosing weight too slowly? I count my SW as my starting weight and I've lost 15lbs. I expected to loose 20-22lbs the first month. I am 3.5 weeks post-op currently. I try to to compare myself to others and their weight loss.

You cannot compare yourself to others. Can't Can't Can't! You'll just end up frustrated. I think to think of what I am doing differently this time compared to last time I tried to lose weight. Am I going to the gym more, eating better choices? It sounds selfish but focus on you!

@@Ria1202 its a sign that you are full!! At least for me!! 3/4 bites im full i burp if i try to keep eating im uncomfortable and bloating so i stop! Thats my first sign!

We had our surgery in the same month.... Yea April!

Question: what is the burping about? After I eat, I burp mad crazy.

@@Ria1202 its a sign that you are full!! At least for me!! 3/4 bites im full i burp if i try to keep eating im uncomfortable and bloating so i stop! Thats my first sign!

SD:4/16/14 - SW: 300 - CW: 234 (Down 66lbs) I am little excited... I had a big lose this week. I lose 4.2lbs this week and since I saw Dr. Singh 15lbs. My goal weight by July 7th next visit with Dr. Singh is 229 (per my scale - his scale is always slightly different from mine).

I intensified my workout a little, made sure I rested my muscles after intense workouts, watch my Water and Protein intake. I've also been working out almost daily.

Great advice thats my GOAL this week!! I just did 5 miles on the bike and I usually do 3...i go for my 3 month check up july 9 and I have got to get my butt in gear for that check up!! Stronger workout, more protein and water!! Water is such an issue for me :(

I water started tasting blah to me so I started adding the crystal light lemonade and I've been meeting my liquids.

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
