Scheduled for VGS on Feb 1

Hello everyone. I am a newbie here on the forum. I am scheduled for the sleeve surgery on 2/1/11. I am concerned about losing, ie like it may not work. I have been on pre op diet and exercise and havent's lost a pound. I am a nurse and pretty much know what is going to happen. Did anyond else out there not lose a whol lot before surgery, but after the sleeve you began to lose? Just need some reassurance that it will work.

thanks sl much

I'm scheduled for my surgery just before you on 1/29. That is my biggest fear, that i will have the majority of my stomach removed and i still won't lose weight. Scary stuff. I am also interested in the responses you get. Good luck to you!

It works, deep down thin you is bursting to come out. :)

Thin me found exercise, after my op I starting a gym with a personal trainer now I run 10k a day for fun. AT the end of the day its calories in v calories out and the sleeve is an awesome tool to reduce calories in. Good Luck!
