Hard to Swallow Horse Pills

I've never had problems swallowing pills before.. so don't know why but when I have to take the vitamin, calcium, etc they get stuck in my throat. I drink before I take them to wet my throat but it doesn't help.

Anybody got any pill tricks?

I haven't got any suggestions to help get them down, but perhaps chewable vitamins and calcium would be a better option for you right now? xx

I buy the powdered vits at costco...called EcoDrink. They come in 2 flavors to the box, orange and berry and they are pretty tasty. Of course, the colder the better. You mix them in your Water bottle and sip away. You get your water and your vits at the same time. They even throw in a water bottle to mix them in, but I just add them to my SmartWater, which gives me the extra electrolytes and keeps the leg cramps at bay. No choking.

I also get chewable calcium. The choc flavored ones are like dessert. LOL.

GG

I tend to just throw the pill in my mouth, and get a gulp, tilt my head back to submerge the pill and swallow. Don't know how to explain, but I try my best to not let my tongue get in the way when I motion to swallow. :)

I do the same thing as Pete..

I stick it in the back of my mouth take a big drink of Water and let the Vitamin kind of float there. Then swallow. I almost do better with bigger pills them smaller ones(like citrical petites) gravity seems to help. I do better standing then sitting. I also have extra water nearby in case one does get stuck at the top of my stomach.
