Surgery Date is Sept 16

Wow! That's next week. I started pursuing this adventure in February 2010. Thanks to all of you who generously shared your appeal letters and information. I believe I was acutally more excited about winning the appeal then finally having the surgery. My doc uses a two week modified liquid diet, and I lost 9 pounds at the end of the first week. I also put on a pair of pants that have been hanging around my closet for over a year... you know what I'm talking about!!

To our good health

Congratulations to you.

I started in February also and am schedules for 9-15-10.

It is a long road but when you think about it 7 months is not that bad. I've been this weight for almost 20 years a few months more won't matter much.

Good luck to you.

Tracey
